So, I had a horrible experience with scottevest and it tweaked me so much that I Googled “scottevest sucks”. Sure enough I found this site-I was actually thinking about creating a site but someone saved me the work :-). Anyway, the following is a cut & paste of my email thread with the moron who is the CEO of Scottevest. I re-arranged it in chronological order.

Here's some free advice:

I have run businesses myself and I understand policies. I also understand exceptions to policies. Exceptions are very powerful. Your policies will take care of 99% of your events but there is a time and place for exceptions 1% of the time. That 1% will have a much bigger impact than its 1% would suggest.

I don't understand why not exchange for size if you still have the stock? Scottevest customer are paying for the return shipping fee anyways, we are not asking for refund for god Sake! Thats the reason i don't anything on sale or outlet, i have recently found another brand which is much more cheaper with multiple pocket lie ExOFFICIO i bought a vest on sale for 50% off $49 and a flyQ jacket light weight, great quality and stylist also less then $50 after 50% sale and still get free return and free exchange from Amazon and i am a real customer

This company sucks...really rude CSR's and execs! Use PayPal if you buy from them, it's the only way you can get refund no matter how bad Scottevest wants to deny it.

I purchased a med vest, I already owned a medium trench that fit perfit - the vest was so small I could not even bring the edges together! Of course they claim it was in specs.

I had professional tailor measure it and it was 2 inches off!

Stay away from this rotten company!
